I'd describe my personality as dedicated and compassionate with the geriatric population I like caring for seniors because my 25 years of background in Occupational Therapy has given me great enjoyment with the senior population I'm looking for a job that I can provide holistic care and use my strong clinical skills to care for the senior population I started caring for seniors after I achieved my degree in Occupational Therapy. My background has been skilled nursing, a acute care and rehab hospitals. I have a diverse knowledge of cardiac, neurological , orthopedic and dementia experience. In my spare time, I like to go camping on weekends and read historical fiction books. I am a busy mom of a hockey player and enjoy attending hockey games. One thing you should know about me is my easy rapport with my patients . I enjoy providing education to not only the patient , but families as well. My skills include proficiency in daily self care tasks , mobility and transfers.
