About Jolene

I'm an UIUC student who's passionate about fostering children's growth and making a positive impact on their lives. I'm based in Mokena during breaks and Urbana during school. With 3 years of experience, I've worked at Lifetime Fitness as a camp counselor, where I've honed my skills and my love of being a nurturing presence in children's lives. Im also CPR/AED/FIRST AID certified through American Red Cross. I'm known for my creativity, friendliness, and optimism, and I believe in encouraging children to try things independently while supporting them through trial and error. I also value building strong connections with children, creating an environment where they feel comfortable being themselves. I prioritize clear communication with parents, providing verbal updates at pickup and regular updates via text or phone call, depending on their preference. Regarding activities, I enjoy playing outdoor sports, educational games, and anything else the children are interested in.
