About Josie

Hello! My name is Josie. I teach high school Language Arts, and I'm passionate about building connections with children and their families. I have volunteered at various schools in the Salt Lake Valley and have experience working with children from all demographics, including special needs. My qualifications include six years of paid nannying experience, four years of working/volunteering in schools, coursework in early childhood development, CPR and first aid certification, and the ability to relate with children of all ages. Throughout my life, I've learned innovative ways to relate with and teach children. Teaching children, and most importantly, learning from them, is my passion; it's something I want to do for the remainder of my life. Nannying has given me the experience to excel in my future profession that will help me care for children in homes and in classrooms alike. Thank you for your interest.
