About Jquan

Hello! My name is JQuan (Jay). I am a 24-year-old male, residing in Richmond, VA. I am patient, caring, creative, adventurous and reliable. I am currently a 4th Grade teacher in Chesterfield County, continuing to further my Master's in Education. I attended West Chester University, where I have obtained my degree in Psychology/Spanish. During my college career, I worked as an academic tutor, long term sub teacher and also as a paraeducator for Special Needs children within our BSAP program. I have also volunteered at the boys and girls club and I am a big brother for the Big Brother Big Sister program. I have 6 years of experience. I started off with a love for children as I am the oldest of 7 children. So, I am used to looking after the youth. Each day that I work with children, it helps me to solidify what I wish to do in life. In the house, I can assure appropriate care for the children and provide a safe, productive, conducive environment for learning and fun.
