I have spent many years helping friends and family with different academic difficulties because educationally, things have always come easy to me and that feeling of something finally making sense and 'clicking' for a student is a very motivational moment, and, for some students, can be a turning point in their academic career. I believe in this day and age it can be very difficult for students to find excitement in an academic environment when there is so much excitement to be found outside of the classroom and on their devices. Reawakening a child's competitive nature in the context of learning and challenging themselves is a passion of mine and I believe the barriers some kids put up towards learning and school in general can be broken down with a little understanding and patience.
