About Julia

I'm an environmental educator. I love spending time with children, especially when I am able to teach them about nature while doing it. I've recently graduated from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry with a BS in Environmental Education and Interpretation. Through my work as an educator with Naturalists at Large in California and the Great Smoky Mountains Institute at Tremont, I have been in charge of up to 20 children at one time while hiking through the woods. Professionally, I have working with children ages 4-17. As a babysitter, I have mainly worked with little ones aged from Newborn-3. My effervescent personality allows me to connect with children. I love using that to expand their imagination, creativity, and observation skills. I hope to be a good fit for your family!
