I am an active, fun, and outgoing teen who would love to not only care for your children but be their friend. I have an associates degree and after the summer I will be pursuing my bachelors degree as a triple major at Stetson University. I have worked as a tutor at Kumon math and Reading Center teaching math and reading skills to students aged 3 to 8. I have experience with special needs students and with children who have emotional and behavioral challenges. I grew up with emotional challenges as a child so I am skilled at relating to children's big emotions, validating their emotions, and then teaching them the proper ways to deal with their feelings. While working as tutor I have connected with my students in ways that allow me to work with my students better than any other tutor. I am very detail oriented and notice each of my 50 students quirks, habits, challenges, and I adapt my teaching methods and personality to cater to each child's unique needs.
