I have worked with several people who had different issues that ranged from Alzheimer's to dementia to just needing some company and help with everyday things like shopping. I had my own cleaning service for 10 years and I started cleaning for some people at an upscale retirement community. They told me I should consider working with seniors more. I really enjoy their stories and their company if they are still able to communicate and like to talk. I did try something different for about 2 years. I worked with mentally and physically challenged, needless to say I learned a lot, but I would rather do home care at this point in my life. I am currently working part time with SA COA, I'm looking to find someone that I can help a couple more days a week.
