About Juliana

Growing up as an only child, I couldn't wait to become a babysitter. I remember turning 13 and immediately getting my red cross childcare certification; I quickly became the go-to babysitter and nanny of my neighborhood. As a daughter of a special education teacher, I've always loved working with children. Now as an adult, I've spent the past year tutoring a 4th grader in reading and math and occasionally doing after school- pickups for a 6yr old boy and 9yr old girl. Along with my experience in childcare, I've spent the past 4 years working in healthcare in various surgical settings, and I have recently started a Master's program in Social Work! With my experience in healthcare and BLS certification, I feel confident in my first aid and emergency response skills. With my training for my social work degree, I have mastered my communication skills with children and adolescents. I've always enjoyed and really had a knack for childcare and would love to work with you!
