About Kaitlin

Howdy y'all! I am a passionate and present care giver, who genuinely loves what they do. I have been working with children for 12 years and I have nannied for 5 families and babysat more than I could count. My childcare experience has been extremely expansive, including working with ages between 8mo-13yo and being responsible for a myriad of duties. I have had 24h of professional Montessori training and would love the chance to implement what I've learned. I believe in getting kids outdoors, teaching mindfulness, and being just plain silly. I practice gentle parenting and positive discipline, I don't do time-outs. It is important to me that when a child is in my care that they have healthy and well rounded meal options. I love singing, dancing, playing pretend, gardening, and reading with kids. In my free time I care for 40+ plants, my 4 animals, and run a small business. My interests include reading, hiking, civil rights, and jewelry making. I look forward to meeting your family!
