About Kaitlin

I am an educator passionate about providing transformative literacy experiences for all students. My tutoring is aligned to the science of reading and elevates areas such as phonics/phonemic awareness, vocabulary, fluency, comprehension, spelling, and writing. I have MA licenses as a Reading Specialist (K-12) and a teacher of English (8-12). I have 6+ years of experience providing individualized literacy intervention in school and remote settings, including extensive experience working with students with special education needs. I believe that developing strong relationships with students is the best path toward meaningful intervention, and I think it is imperative to identify and uplift each child's unique interests and skills to best support their academic goals.
