As an OT who provided home care, I wholeheartedly believe in helping people remain in their homes for as long as possible with the supports to keep them safe and comfortable. I was a licensed OT in Pennsylvania and never applied for a NY license because my boys were very young when we moved here. I have physical and cognitive rehabilitation experience as well as end of life experience. Most recently I was the volunteer coordinator for a comfort care home in Corning, NY. In addition, I helped care for my father, who passed from a brain tumor 20 years ago. I'm happy to answer any questions you may have about my experience!
