About Karen

Hello, I am Karen, a former say at home mom and I love to read and love to help others struggling to read. I do it the old fashion way, by learning the alphabet and sounding out the letters then reading. Reading to, reading with, and listening to their reading. I taught my two children reading readiness skills which allowed them to take off as they began reading in school. I consistently read to them and read with them as they grew. I believe that it is important to continue to do so throughout their elementary school years. If you have a struggling reader, I may be able to assist you just by having the time to sit and read with your loved one.
