About Karissa

Hi! My name is Karissa! I'm 22 years old and currently a senior at the University of Maryland in College Park. I am a kinesiology major and I plan to graduate in the fall of 2020. I have had tutoring experience in the past. When I was in high school, I became a tutor at my middle school. The middle school was right next to the high school so after I got out of class, I would go there and be a tutor for many different subjects. Besides tutoring middle school aged children, I've worked with children of all ages. I've been babysitting for 8 years now, and the children have been anywhere from 8 months to 13 years old. I also have two part time jobs and am taking a full course load this semester split between UMD and AACC. I have earned a 90 clock hour certificate from being a teacher at my high schools preschool for 3 years as well. I am responsible, and patient with children of all ages and I love being able to help children grow in any way that I can!
