About Katelyn

I'd describe my personality as compassionate, friendly, and patient. I like working with kids because children see the world in a unique way, full of curiosity. I'm looking for a job that will offer me the opportunity to have a meaningful impact on others. I started working with kids at 12 years old when I helped with my younger sister and cousins. With that experience, including formula feeding, diaper changing, and preparing meals, I was able to care for family friends' children and ultimately care for two girls on an almost full-time schedule while home from college for the last two years. In my spare time, I like to watch sporting events, spend time with my friends and family, and read books. One thing you should know about me is that I am currently a sophomore at ASU but am from Washington State. I would consider myself to be skilled in organization, good judgment, and patience. I am able to maintain age appropriate communication based on ages and learning abilities.
