About Katelyn

I'd describe my personality as outgoing, compassionate, and ambitious. I find joy in supporting children in their development and seeing the world through their eyes. Working with kids is a unique opportunity to support the future generation in a fun, and sometimes unpredictable environment. I started working with kids when I was 15 years old. At 18, I was a nanny for 2 kids, ages 6 and 9, during the summer months before moving away for college. In college, I worked for multiple families as an occasional babysitter and a nanny for a family of 3 children, ages 16 months, 3, and 12. I'm energetic and organized. My skills include amazing communication, managing a child's daily routine, and meal preparation and house-cleaning. I graduated from the University or North Texas with a journalism degree in 2022, and will be going to law school in August. I like to read, sew, craft, and thrift shop. In addition, I love hanging out with friends and seeing live music.
