About Katherine

I'd describe my personality as helpful, caring, and considerate. I like working with kids because I love their little personalities, and watching them learn about the world around them. I'm looking for a job that allows me to work at home caring for little ones. I have an elementary teaching license and worked in public schools until my own children were born. I was able to provide childcare for two different families in my home and I really enjoyed it. In my spare time, I like to cook, bake, garden, sew, read, go camping, and enjoy the outdoors. One thing you should know about me is that I have a husband and two children, ages 10 and 7. We have a hobby farm with chickens, ducks, and a big garden. My skills include taking care of feeding, naps, and diapering, as well as providing opportunities for play and a loving environment.
