About Katherine

I am the oldest of 6 children, so I naturally grew into a care-giving role. I have helped and been responsible for children of all ages: from newborns to teenagers. I was a full-time nanny for a family of 3 children ages 0-12 for three consecutive summers during college. I have assisted with childcare part-time since graduation, with experience watching children, pets, assisting with homework or household priorities, driving children to and from school/practices/play dates, and even have experience with overnight or extended stays for a period of time. I am comfortable handling a variety of childcare responsibilities and children of all ages. I have a new car with a valid driver's license and insurance. I also have a flexible schedule and fun spirit! I love to cook, do arts and crafts, be active outdoors. I grew up as an athlete, so I have extensive knowledge and skills playing a variety of sports. I was a competitive swimmer as well, and have provided swimming lessons.
