About Katherine

I have over 10 years of experience working with children. I have taught preschool up until college level writing/essays. I also have two children of my own, boys, who are in prek & 1st grade. I am a teacher, certified through ACSI for Prek-6 and currently work as a freelance writer and tutor so that I can make my own schedule. I have varied experience in writing - copywriting, blogs, proposals, book publishing, transcription, and more. I can also tutor in elementary grades and for writing/reading elementary to college level. I also do test prep/homework help for all ages. Last, in addition for caring for your children and tutoring, I can help with light housekeeping, laundry, dog walking, etc, while I am at your home. Fun fact, I have trained as a birth & postpartum doula, childbirth & breastfeeding educator; I am currently taking clients for hourly postpartum shift blocks. In the summer, I am available for evening & overnight. Otherwise my availability is between the hours of 8-3 p.m.
