About Katherine

I'm an energetic, patient caregiver and love helping kids learn and grow. I have babysat, tutored, taught, housesat, and nannied for 10 years, assisting with everything from occasional date nights to school pickup and potty training. I work closely with parents and children to determine every family's individual needs, and enjoy getting to know each child's individual personality - and as 1 of 2 sisters, I know firsthand the joy and struggles of sibling dynamics. I enjoy developing and teaching age appropriate dance curriculum, swim lessons, and strategies for school success. I have also tutored children in math, English, science, and piano. Special interests I love to share include cooking, dancing, music, lego building, and swimming, as well as anything creative or make believe. Previous certifications include Lifeguard/First Aid/CPR/AED/clean driving record. Originally from California, I attended school in Ohio and have a BA in International Political Science and Dance.
