About Katherine

I am a very passionate and hard worker. I used to take care of my grandmother when she was alive and decided to go into working with people who needed extra care. I am a Certified Nurse Aide through the state of Michigan and worked for a year as an aide in Northern Michigan in a skilled care nursing facility. In the skilled nursing facility, I worked with a minimum of 8-10 residents per shift. I provided basic care along with companionship. I am experienced in working with residents with dementia and Alzheimer's disease. I have spent time on working with many residents whose care ranged from rehab care to total care. I am experienced in food prep and feeding along with catheter care, colostomy/ostomy bag care, transportation and lift use, positioning, peri care, postmortem, and basic hygiene care.
