I took care of my mother for 5 years before she went into a nursing home. She had Dementia, I took her to appointments, helped her with meals and anything else she needed. I worked for over a year with a sweet lady that also had Dementia. I also cared for a couple for over 8 years. First for his wife and when she passed away his sons asked me to stay on with their dad. When he passed away, I took care of a gentleman that had several health issues. I was with him until he passed away. With all my caregiver jobs I prepared meals, provided companionship, helped with bathing, transportation to appointment's, I did household chores and also dispensed their medications. I give 100% to the care of the individual that I care for. I am very comfortable with pets if they are in the household. I will treat your loved one as my family member. I have references upon request. I am currently taking online classes but they will not interfere with my job.
