About Kathryn

Growing up, I have always been surrounded by children, whether professionally or personally. When I was about 12 or 13, I started babysitting for children that ranged from ages 5 to 9. As I progressed through babysitting jobs, I began to become familiar with working with wider range of ages. I also had some experience caring for a disabled child whom I was very familiar with. At the age of 16, I started working at a summer camp for children between the ages of 7 and 14. While working, I taught children in many activities such as sailing, soccer, swimming, basketball, and hiking. My job required me to live on-site and care for groups of children at periods of a week at a time. Currently, I'm a senior at Jefferson University in Philadelphia, majoring in finance. I live off campus in and apartment and have access to a car! I'm originally from Upstate New York and now I live in Philadelphia. Due to COVID, all my class were moved online giving me flexibility to work and attend lectures.
