About Katie

Hi! My name is Katie, and I am a a recent graduate of Union High School. I have three years of experience as a camp counselor, where I had the privilege of working with children of all abilities, including those with Down syndrome, deafness, and autism. My passion for working with kids is complemented by my time in a teaching academy, where I gained hands-on experience as a student teacher in a 4th-grade classroom. In addition to my work with children, I am also actively involved in theater, both on stage and backstage. My background in performing arts has helped me develop creativity, confidence, and strong communication skills, which I bring to every babysitting job. These experiences have equipped me with the skills and dedication needed to provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for the children I care for. I am excited to bring my knowledge, enthusiasm, and creativity to babysitting, ensuring that every child I work with feels supported and valued.
