Hello! I'm Katie, a TEFOL certified teacher through Oxford Seminars. I am currently getting my Master's degree in English at UNC Charlotte and have two Bachelor's degrees in English and Psychology. I am currently a college-level teacher's assistant at UNCC in English and Linguistics (paused during summer term). Before that, I was an English Language Teacher for 3 years in Japan where I taught Japanese middle grade and special needs students. I have been a private tutor since 2011, and have worked with children of 3 months to 18 years of age since 2010. I am bubbly, easy-going, and have a passion for teaching and working with kids!
