About Katie

Hello! My name is Katie. I am 27 years old and have had much experience in child care and education over the past 10 years. I started working in a daycare center when I was 17. Since then I've worked in 3 different daycare centers, and as well nannied for 2 different families. In 2010-2011, I taught kindergarten, and then from 2012-2014 was a tutor for a small group of home-schoolers. I have also worked in various children's programs in my church including Jr. church, Sunday school, nursery, bus ministries, and summertime vacation Bible school. I am currently unemployed, and looking for a position to supplement my husbands income. I also have a 2-year-old daughter who would love to have a playmate! I am willing to play games, sing songs, have outdoor activities, as well as help with age appropriate educational development. I have had CPR and First Aid training but am not certified at this time.
