About Katie

I recently completed my Bachelors degree in Human Biology from Michigan State University, and will be moving to the city in early August. Over the last several years, I have worked as a medical assistant in a pediatricians' office, a child life specialist volunteer in a local hospital, and a nanny during the school year. I really enjoy engaging with children's development and education at any stage and I am happy to assist with school work, healthy physical activity, and pursuing new creative hobbies, as age appropriate. I am proficient in ASL (American Sign Language) and I am familiar with Montessori education. I am specifically experienced with infant care and safety, and am CPR and First-Aid certified. I have a flexible schedule and reliable transportation, and I am comfortable with accommodating for light housework and pet care as needed. I have been fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
