While I haven't had any formal training in caring for pets, I have never lived in an environment where there were no pets. I currently have pets of my own: - 2 bunnies - 1 chinchilla - 2 dogs (one is 4 y/o, the other is geriatric and is 17 1/2 y/o). I am willing to work with and have experience in working with the following: - dogs - birds - rabbits/bunnies - chinchillas - gerbils/hamsters Additionally, I am a Florida-certified special education teacher. My experience in teaching is in the special education field, most recently being in the field of autism. It is in my nature to care for people and animals. While in high school (many years ago), I volunteered at the Humane Society as a pet therapy volunteer.
