About Katy

Hello! My name is Katy, and I am a recent graduate from Michigan State University with a BA in Secondary Education English. I have always had a passion for working with kids, and I would love the opportunity to work with yours! I have had many different experiences working with kids, from newborns in daycares to in-home babysitting and nannying for children of all ages. I have been a nanny for 3 straight summers, and I have been babysitting since I was 12. I am reliable, organized, energetic, and full of great ideas to get your kids up and moving, or to help them find new ways to get engaged in their learning. Kids are the best versions of themselves when respect is paid equally between them and their caregiver, and this is something that is important to me. I have experience with cooking for children, tutoring them, and just enjoying their favorite play-time activities with them!
