About Kayla

I spent 2 years tutoring an elementary school student and a middle school student. The elementary school student and I worked daily on math, handwriting, reading, spelling, science, and some memory work. The middle school student and I worked through pre-algebra and Algebra I and English grammar. I also spent a school year as a study hall monitor for middle school students for about 5 hours, once a week, and assisted them primarily with math. I am comfortable with almost any subject through middle school, and the humanities and mathematics through high school and early college. I am studying Spanish at my college, so I would love to assist your children with Spanish or English or just practice either one of the languages more! I have a very strong background in essay writing, and I can help your child grow in his writing abilities.
