About Kayla

I have been around, and cared for children my whole life and am always amazed at everything they can teach us. I obtained my bachelor's degree in History and planned to pursue a career in education but I began a career in aviation about 10 years ago and have been doing that ever since. I am medically and CPR trained through my training with the airline I work for. I'm also very comfortable enforcing household rules to ensure a safe and structured environment. I prioritize open communication with parents and provide regular updates about their child's day and any issues that may arise. I'm flexible and adapt to the parents' preferred communication method, whether it's verbal communication at pickup or regular updates via text or phone calls. I enjoy playing a variety of games with children, including outdoor sports and physical games, board games and puzzles, and educational games that promote learning.
