Hello! My name is Kayla, I'm currently a junior at NYU studying English and Creative Writing. I am proficient in English and literature and am very passionate about tutoring those subjects as I'm considering going to Graduate school for teaching. I also have experience with technology applications (certified in MOS Word 2016) and have both hosting and participatory experience with virtual meet. I have 1 year of paid experience working with Children in a tutoring capacity; in the past I have worked with Jumpstart at NYU acting as a Team Leader, leading and implementing lesson plans in a classroom as well as America Reads at NYU working as a tutor/classroom aide at P. S. 150 (Learning Center). I have 1 year of unpaid experience mentoring in a Kindergarten classroom with special needs and differently able learners and have been babysitting since I was 13. I am also CPR and First Aid certified!
