About Keely

I have eight years of experience as an elementary school teacher, specializing in 5th-grade math and science. Throughout my career, I have designed math lessons tailored to student data and served as a building math liaison, aligning our curriculum with Common Core standards. My hands-on teaching approach encourages students to take charge of their learning, leading to remarkable outcomes-91% of my students met their end-of-year math goals. As an ambassador for the EcoRise science curriculum, I trained teachers to incorporate hands-on science opportunities into their classrooms. My summer school teaching experience includes preparing 4th graders for 5th-grade success and teaching all subjects to 3rd graders. I am passionate about creating a dynamic and engaging learning environment where students thrive academically and develop a love for learning. Although I am currently a mindset and fitness coach, I remain dedicated to keeping teaching in my life both personally and professionally
