About Kelly

I'd describe my personality as reliable, experienced, patient I like working with kids because I love to see the world the way they see it. I love to listen to what they think and explore with them. I'm looking for a job that provides part-time work, so I still have flexibility for my grandkids. I started working with kids when I was a camp counselor in high school. I co-parented two step-children and then had kids of my own. I was the troop leader for two Girl Scout troops and spent a lot of time volunteering in the classrooms. Now I babysit my grandson weekly. In my spare time, I like to read, knit, explore new restaurants, watch movies, and spend time with the growing family. One thing you should know about me is I believe in really listening and being present with kids. I also have a background in nutrition, so I can put healthy snacks on the table. My skills include soothing fussy infants, knowledge of healthy snacking, keeping active.
