I started tutoring in 2004 when I was asked to help some of my students' older siblings obtain their GEDs. Since then, I have tutored Reading/Language Arts and Math from Kindergarten to Grade 12/Pre Calculus. One thing you should know about me is I am a licensed teacher, who has taught Elementary and Middle School for over 25 years. Right now, I teach sixth grade math, Pre Algebra and Algebra 1. I also have a Master's degree in special education, and have trainings in Gifted and Talented and ELL education. My skills include building a relationship with each child I tutor in order to help them feel confident when we are working together.
