I previously worked as a STEM instructor for middle school Montessori students, as well as a substitute in the infant/toddler classroom, and after school care for children ages 5 and 8. I have a degree in Environmental Studies from VCU, and am a Virginia Certified Horticulturist. I am passionate about studying nature, and child centered approaches to teaching. In my free time I love to cook, practice yoga, study herbalism, and work in the garden.
