About Kelsey

I'd describe my personality as passionate, kind, and creative! I like tutoring because I love working individually or in small groups with students to really unlock their potential. I'm looking for a job that is consistent and that allows me to help students meet their goals! I started tutoring as a teenager! I tutored as part of my National Honor Society volunteer hours, and I tutored consistently in college. I've also been a special education teacher for the past 13 years, and I love working one on one with students. In my spare time, I like to read, spend time with my puppy, and relax with my husband and friends. One thing you should know about me is I'm excellent at finding new ways to explain information to a student. My skills include decoding and reading fluency, reading comprehension, and improving writing. I also have experience with middle school math and history.
