Hello, I want to provide care for someone that needs it because I care to begin with. I am 67 myself and I am a happy person. If I can do something to help a person feel more secure, stronger, happier or more at peace, then I will do it. I have spent 30 years as an active health care worker. I also cared for my father, uncle and grandmother in their later years. After retiring, my wife and I moved here to help with our grandchildren. When they became old enough to need me less, I decided to obtain work as a senior caregiver. My first job has made me want others. I love the work. My top skills for senior care include a strong knowledge of medicine and medical situations, and the ability to assist someone so they feel clean, comfortable and dignified. I also love to engage a person so that their time is spent in fun and satisfying ways.
