About Kiara

Hello! My name is Kiara and I have three years of experience with kids across ages 0-15. I have worked at summer camps, and after-school programs implementing fun educational activities to help strengthen kids' reading and arithmetic skills. I have also implemented phonics lessons with kids which helped them name letters and make letter sounds, on top of better pronunciation of words. For younger ages I've worked in daycare and preschool settings, where I was tasked with feeding, changing, nap time, and creating developmentally appropriate play and sensory based activities. I am able to handle multiple kids at once and provide stable supervision. I'm able to create and lead fun group activities for kids to get them active or engage their imagination. I'm well organized with high energy and attention to detail, and am willing to help with other tasks around the house. I'm very passionate about working with kids and hope to become a teacher one day!
