I raised four kids as a single parent. I have two bonus kids (step) and seven grands aged 5 to 22, and I am currently hosting a 15-year-old foreign exchange student. My daughter ran an in-home daycare prior to her relocation. I stepped in if she had an appointment or on a sick day. I knew all of the families, and they were comfortable with me caring for their children in my daughter's absence. I enjoy learning from kids, as well as sharing knowledge and life lessons.
