About Kirsten

Hi my name is Kirsten and I absolutely adore caring for and spending time with children. I was an Environmental Science major and take deep passion in nature and sustainability. I have worked on farms and in greenhouses and love to share my knowledge with children. Working with children was my first job, babysitting at 13 and continuing to work at day cares from age 16-27. Before moving to Colorado I had the opportunity working as a co preschool teacher and loved it soo much, but I'm looking to get back into a home setting Since moving to Denver I have worked with a foster family, a family with 3 toddlers and now with a baby about 1year about to go to daycare. Working in different environments has given me the amazing opportunity of learning how to care in many settings and ages and energies. One-on-one or in group settings I am able to teach and guide in life. Such as coping, sharing, potty training, autonomy, academics, and other important life skills
