About Kristen

I have many years of experience working with children teaching, fostering, direct care and mentoring them. I was a head teacher for preschool-head start programs for many years. I have helped many families with ideas and support on how to manage some behaviors and emotions by helping to design a consistent routine. My experience includes helping many children with all different kinds of needs as well as children on the spectrum. I helped a mute autistic boy learn to speak and read . I have my AS in Early Childhood Education and my BS in Psychology with a focus on child. I love to spend time with children, playing games, talking, doing activities such as arts and crafts, cooking etc... I teach using positive encouragement, modeling and including the children in problem solving decisions. I am a great helper and problem solver. I can help with various errands, light housekeeping, cooking, meal prep and transportation if needed. I am a loyal, honest, fun-loving committed person.
