About Kristie
Experience: 20 yrs
I have been working with children professionally for 13 years. I am a mother of 2 children ages 16 and 20. I have worked in the classroom setting for too long and I'm looking to provide care in a home-based setting. I am comfortable with pick-ups and drop-offs. I encourage learning through play and would be happy to get your little one ready for kindergarten. I am a non-smoker, I have my CPR, First Aid, and MAPS (medication) Certification. I take the SIDS safety course annually. I have worked at Little Red School House in Somerset and Live and Learn Childcare in Swansea. Please feel free to contact the directors for a reference.

Kristie has been my three-year-old's day care provider for the last year. She is an impeccably organized, proactive caretaker, and an incredibly well trained preschool teacher. But she has shown experience well beyond her role as a preschool teacher, including but not limited to occupational and speech therapy for special needs, appropriate behavioral and educational assessments, regulation, food sensitivities and dietary allergies. Kristie always goes the extra mile to organize creative projects, weekly themes and sensory play. My son is SO attached to her, and we are so sad to see her move on. But I know that some very lucky family will benefit, and I hope for your sake that it's you.
