About Kylie

I am a dual certified elementary and special education teacher who has worked in the field for eight years before a transition to stay at home with my daughter. I have earned two graduate degrees within the field of education. My first Master's degree is in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Mathematics and my second is in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Literacy. My education, coupled with my real-world teaching experience, make me a highly qualified educator that can adapt my methods to meet the needs of the students I teach. I believe learning should be personalized and tailored to each student as an individual. I work to incorporate personal interests and motivate each student to find methods that they understand. I am an organized teacher who utilizes structures for learning, to include multi-modal instructional strategies. I am passionate about helping students to succeed and feel immense pride when my students succeed and reach their personal goals.
