About Laney

I'd describe my personality as energetic and patient. I like working with kids because they all have unique personalities and I love watching them grow and develop into little humans! I also am going to college for pediatric speech and language pathology, so I have plenty of experience with kids and am aware of different developmental stages. I'm looking for a job that inspires me and gives me more opportunities to be creative and come up with fun activities for the kids to keep them entertained and learning! I started working with kids when I was 13 years old, so just about 6 years ago now. I have always babysat and was a nanny before college. In my spare time, I like to read, go for walks, swim, hang out with friends, volunteer, foster dogs, ride my bike, go to concerts, find local coffee shops and small businesses etc. My skills include patience, experience with kids, and a willingness to work with the parents to always put the child's needs and best interest first.
