About Larissa

Hi! I started working with school-aged kids when I was 18, as a date night babysitter. When I was 21, I started at a daycare where I primarily worked with infants! After having my son at 22, I began as an interim lead preschool teacher at the same facility, where I am at currently. My degree is in Early Childhood Education from the University of Washington. My skills include facilitating developmentally appropriate milestones, communication skills, and encouraging creativity. I consider myself to be a very patient and passionate caregiver. Additionally, I know basic ASL signs I use with infants through toddlers. With my own son, I have seen it help immensely with his developing language and communication skills. As mentioned above, I am mother of a 15-month-old son who would accompany me to your home. My ideal family would be open to this and look forward to socializing and activities together! I am looking forward to finding a great family to connect with!
