About Laura

Hello Parents! I recently transferred to UVA from Northern VA and I am excited to start meeting and caring for Charlottesville kids! From summer camp counselor to Au Pair to Suzuki violin teacher I have interacted with children of all different backgrounds and loved every second of it. I have done foster-care babysitting, elder care, nannying, lots of special needs care, and every other type of as-needed babysitting you can think of. Parents like me because I am punctual, trustworthy, engaging to their children, and because the kids love me. Being away from parents is hard sometimes and I try to make babysitting a fun event for the kids. This Summer I am taking classes and working as a research assistant in a child development lab, so I am mainly available evenings and weekends for date nights or back up care.
