About Laura

Hi, I'm Laura! I recently graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor's in microbiology (chemistry concentration) and a political science minor. I was a straight A student, made the Dean's List, and frequently had the top grade in classes of 200+ students. After being accepted to medical school, I decided to take a gap year and work as a tutor to help other young students! I have experience in a wide variety of subjects. I have an extensive science background (biology, chemistry, physics, etc.), as well as math, English, reading, writing, social studies/history, music, dance, and Latin. I can help with test prep, homework help, reviewing and teaching difficult subjects, paper writing, and working with students to find their best learning style. In college, I worked as a teaching assistant and tutor, a chemistry camp counselor, and as a researcher on the best ways to teach chemistry. I am excited to help each student access the tools and confidence they need for great academic success!
