About Laura

Hello! I am 30yo, who currently works as a Program Manager at CU Boulder. I have my Master's Degree and have experience working with all ages of children. I was formerly the Youth Prevention Program Manager at Aurora Mental Health Center, where I worked with middle and high school students. I have my certifications for CPR/First Aid, Youth Mental Health First Aid and Adult Mental Health First Aid. Additionally, I am a former swim teacher from SafeSplash, where I worked with teaching young children how to swim from ages 2-12. I have been working with children since a young age, being the oldest of three girls. In my pre-teen years, I volunteered every Sunday at my family church, working in the nursery and watching the toddlers and infants. I am open to any questions or concerns, as I have ongoing experience that I am happy to share!

Laura is amazing! We have 4 kids that are 16, 12,4 and 3 years old. They all love when she comes over! Our older boys appreciated that she always takes the time to talk to them and our toddlers love that she spends the whole time playing with them and doing different activities while staying calm and patient with them. They always feel loved, happy and excited when she comes over. Thank you Laura for being you!
