About Laura

Hi! My name is Laura, I'm 31 years old, and I love working with kids! I'm currently working as a teacher's aid for a preschool in Cumberland, working with 2. 5-3-year-olds although I have experience with all ages. I was a counselor at Kingsley Pines summer camp for 5 summers (I taught ukulele, guitar, waterskiing, wakeboarding and was a lifeguard). I have my own car and will be getting CPR certified within the next few months for my current job. I spent the summer as a nanny for a 5. 5-year-old girl who inspired me to leave my career in graphic design and pursue early education. I love working with kids because they remind me not to take life too seriously. It's very humbling to work with kids and see them grow. Right now, I'm looking for any sort of after-school work (getting kids off the bus, starting dinner, etc.) or any babysitting jobs in the evenings. Side note, I'm also a musician and love to play music with kids. I sing and play guitar/uke/and some piano.
